Flooring contractors marketing agencies UK: a five-agency shortlist

Flooring fitters compete with national retailers who fit for free, so the independent needs to win on local trust and speed of response. Only one agency in this directory names flooring fitters. The rest below were chosen for how well their model transfers to a fitting business with a van and a showroom-free approach.

How the five were selected

Each agency was checked for three things. Does it name flooring or a closely related finishing trade? Does it publish pricing or state its pricing model? Can a small firm exit without a long term?

Two agencies on the original list failed the fit test. Home Improvements Digital Marketing targets established extension builders in Scotland and Nivoro Marketing publishes retainers from £8,000 a month aimed at glazing groups. Both were replaced: Trustmark Trades says it works with every UK trade on a flat fee, and Websites for Tradespeople sells fixed-price owned sites with a trade list that includes carpenters and decorators.

For the general picture across all trades, our comparison of UK trades marketing agencies sets out the wider field.

1. We Build Trades

Best for: Multi-van flooring firms that want ads, follow-up and CRM in one platform

We Build Trades describes an AI-powered growth system that connects a website, paid media across Google, Meta, TikTok and Bing, AI lead follow-up and a CRM pipeline with reporting. It offers area exclusivity. The company says it works with trade and home service businesses generally, with named focus on heating, electrical, roofing and solar, and claims more than 300 trade companies on a system refined since 2017.

Pricing is not published and no case studies are published. Its location is given as Halesowen, West Midlands, in an InstallerSHOW exhibitor listing rather than on its own site.

For a flooring company with several fitters and the appetite for paid media, the all-in-one pitch is attractive. The absence of public proof means the sales call has to do the work.

Verdict: Ambitious platform, thin evidence. Ask to see flooring or finishing-trade results before committing.

2. Riley Marketing

Best for: Independent flooring fitters who want the local basics handled for a fixed £149 a month

Riley Marketing builds a foundational growth system for trades and local service businesses: an SEO-focused website with service and location pages, Google Business Profile optimisation, Google review automation including past-customer reactivation, missed-call text back, and a CRM with lead status tracking and branded quote pages on the business's own domain. The fee is fixed, £149 a month at the time of writing, with no setup fee.

The structure suits flooring well. Service pages for LVT, carpet, laminate, engineered wood and subfloor preparation, each paired with the towns you cover, give Google something specific to rank. Flooring is also a quote-heavy trade, and the branded quote pages mean a homeowner comparing you with a retailer sees a professional document on your domain rather than a text message.

Terms are the reason it ranks above the platform at number one for a small firm: built before you pay, unlimited revisions, cancel any time. Founder Tom Riley, ten years in search and lead generation with his own lead generation sites, deals with clients directly. Listed trades include kitchen fitters, decorators, plasterers and builders rather than flooring by name, but the system is the same for every trade. Paid ads and local SEO are add-ons.

The missed-call text back is the practical win. Fitters work on their knees with a saw running. A text within seconds keeps the enquiry.

Verdict: Fixed fee, no risk at the start and the pieces a one-van fitter actually lacks. The strongest small-firm option on the list.

3. Get A Trades Website

Best for: Flooring fitters who want a founder-built site they own, at a quoted price

Get A Trades Website is the one agency here that lists flooring fitters by name. Run by Gary from Edinburgh and working UK-wide, it quotes fixed prices, the client owns the site and content is written from the fitter's own notes and photos.

Pricing is published: tailored sites typically £750 to £3,000-plus, quick-start sites at £149, £299 and £499, SEO tune-up at £39 a month, managed SEO from £149 a month, Google Business Profile optimisation and a trades portal for quotes, invoices, leads and reviews.

Evidence is a plumbing and tiling case study and live client sites across surfacing, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and handyman work. Direct founder access is a stated feature.

Verdict: The only flooring-named option. Fair prices, full ownership, no automation layer.

4. Trustmark Trades (marketing arm)

Best for: Flooring fitters covering several market towns who want a flat-fee site and SEO system

Trustmark Trades' marketing arm in Hove charges £299 plus VAT a month, no setup fee, no contract, no per-lead charges. It builds a custom site with service and town pages, directory profiles, a tracked local landline forwarded to mobile, review request tools, completed-job posts to the site and Facebook, hosting and an optional jobs CRM. It says it works with every UK trade.

Its stated strategy is to target less competitive towns outside big cities with many small-town pages, which maps well onto a fitter who travels across a county. It avoids guaranteeing rankings or call volume and cites a 170-plus member network. Published results cover page counts and call volumes for an electrician, a drainage and heating firm and a paving and roofing firm.

Verdict: A solid flat-fee system at twice the fee of the entry at number two. Worth it if the small-town coverage matches your area.

5. Websites for Tradespeople (JW Digital Services Ltd)

Best for: Fitters who want the lowest-cost owned website with the price in writing

Manchester-based and founded in 2023 by Janusz Wozniak, Websites for Tradespeople sells fixed-price packages from £295 to £995 including VAT, with 12 interest-free instalments available. The client owns site and domain outright. Hosting, care and monthly SEO are optional and cancellable monthly. Trades listed include carpenters, painters and decorators, tilers and handymen; flooring is not named.

Sites are phone-first with accreditations shown up front. Live examples cover plumbing and heating, groundworks and landscaping.

Verdict: The budget floor for an owned site. Everything beyond the site is on you.

Making the call

A flooring fitter working alone or with one helper should start with Riley Marketing or Get A Trades Website. Riley if you want reviews, text back and quotes handled on a fee you can stop; Get A Trades Website if you want to pay once and own the result and are happy to manage reviews yourself.

A firm covering a county of market towns could add Trustmark Trades to the shortlist. A firm with four or five fitters and a paid-ads budget is the only kind that should be talking to We Build Trades, and it should ask hard questions first. Websites for Tradespeople is the fallback for a site on a tight budget.

Whichever you choose, check the leaving terms using our guide to contracts and notice periods for trades marketing, and read what the best trades agencies have in common before the first sales call.

Frequently asked questions

Which UK agencies work with flooring contractors?

Get A Trades Website names flooring fitters. Trustmark Trades says it works with every UK trade. Riley Marketing, We Build Trades and Websites for Tradespeople cover related finishing trades and build the same systems for flooring firms.

How does an independent fitter compete with free-fitting retailers?

On local trust and response. Reviews, a site with specific service and town pages and a phone that texts back when missed are the three levers. Riley Marketing bundles all three.

What should a flooring website include?

A page per floor type, a page per town, photos of finished rooms, reviews and a clear quote route. Branded quote pages, as Riley Marketing provides, help when homeowners compare you with a showroom.

Is it better to own the site or pay monthly?

Owning costs less over three years if all you want is a site. Monthly systems that include reviews, tracking and SEO are a different purchase. See the comparison table above for both.
